- About ibu & ibu Activities
- ibu was established by a group of women with the mission "to provide support and information for pregnant women and the parents of babies and young children living in Malaysia". ibu has since grown to welcome and work with all mums in Malaysia. For the first 13 years, all of ibu's services and support took place in members' homes. By its 14th anniversary, ibu had secured spare rooms in a doctors' clinic in Bangsar to operate an office, maternity wardrobe, library, and the Well Baby Clinic. On its 15th anniversary, a house was found in Bangsar to accomodate almost all of ibu's support groups, all services & the playgroups. In 2006 ibu moved to the current location at No.33 Jalan Jelutong in Damansara. ibu operates solely with the help of volunteers and has only 2 paid staff to clean and work the office. Join our team! BOOKINGS FOR EVENTS
Please LOG ONTO http://ibuforum.org/ to register for events or call ibu directly at +603-62110666 to make bookings for any activities.
You may be required to pop into ibu to pay prior to certain events, such as FAMILY DAY OUT , especially when spaces are limited.
Certain events require ADVANCE BOOKING. Dates for RSVP's will be listed here. Please note that certain establishments require very advanced bookings in order for ibu to obtain the GROUP DISCOUNTS/PRIVILEGES.
If no bookings have been made 24 hours prior to the event/activity, the said event/activity may be cancelled.
For Mums on The Run and Parents Night Out, we require a minimum of 3 persons booked in, or else it will be cancelled.
If you have signed up for something and do not wish to attend after, PLEASE CANCEL your booking to avoid any inconvenience towards our reps, and taking up spaces that could otherwise be given to waitlisted clients.
